Privacy notice — draft
VoltCare 365 uses booking, partner application, fault-location and service information to coordinate requested work, quality review and customer support.
Location
Customers may choose to share a one-time fault-site GPS pin while booking, or enter the location manually. Approved partners share device location only after signing in, opening an assigned job and explicitly starting a tracking session. The partner can stop sharing at any time. Location updates are visible to authorised dispatch staff and to the customer holding the private tracking link for that booking, while the Service Engineer is actively sharing. The link is scoped to one booking, is rotated if the job is reassigned, and is disabled when the job is closed or cancelled. Live location sharing ends when the Service Engineer arrives, the partner stops the session, the job is closed or reassigned, or the session reaches its 12-hour limit. Browser GPS requires permission and an open partner page; it is not background tracking.
Data access and retention
Access should be limited to authorised personnel and retention periods must be defined before launch. This draft requires legal review and completion with the actual business contact, grievance officer and data-retention policy.
